Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by EasyContractRE to answer common questions about how we handle your data. It is written by the app owner, not an independent auditor.
What we collect
- Account info: your email address and password hash.
- Follow Up Boss API key: stored encrypted at rest; used only to sync data to your FUB account.
- Follow Up Boss account ID: used to enforce the one-contract free trial.
- Uploaded contracts: PDF files you upload for extraction, plus the extracted structured data.
- Usage counters: number of extractions per month for billing and rate limiting.
How we use it
Your data is used solely to deliver the service: extracting fields from your contracts, pushing deals and tasks to your own Follow Up Boss account, billing, and support. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your contracts to train AI models.

- Lovable Cloud (database, authentication, storage, hosting)
- Google Gemini API (contract text extraction)
- Follow Up Boss (destination for deals, tasks, and notes — using your own API key)
- Paddle (payment processing, when billing is enabled)
Security
Passwords are hashed. Your FUB API key is encrypted at rest with a server-side key. Uploaded PDFs are stored in access-controlled storage scoped to your account. We use HTTPS in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow industry practices to protect your data.
Retention and deletion
We retain your account data while your account is active. You can disconnect your FUB API key at any time from Settings. To delete your account and associated data, email support@easycontractre.com. Data already pushed to your Follow Up Boss account remains in Follow Up Boss under your control.
Cookies
We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email us to make a request.
Children
The service is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice.
